The Popular 2800mm Corrugated Board Production Line in China Market Status

During these years of Covid 19 epidemic situation, the China market of #corrugated #packaging industry have been updated a lot, especially for the #corrugator and #flexo folder gluer.

Nowadays, the most popular corrugator is the 2800mm with the production speed of 300 m/min, compared with last fashion of 2500mm of 300 m/min few years ago.

And if we look back on history, from the beginning of 1990, the big corrugated factory imported corrugator of size 1800mm with speed of 150 m/min ~200 m/min from overseas.

In 2000 many corrugated factories had used the local made corrugator of 1800mm.

In 2004 the 2200mm corrugator was came out and become the new star.

In 2010 the 2500mm corrugator of 250 m/min became the fashion even though only the biggest factory with visionary invested on it, the common corrugator in many factories still using 2200mm of speed 200 m/min ~ 300 m/min which are made in China.

In 2015 the 2500mm corrugator became popular in the market. Many carton box factories kept using the 2200mm and invested another new line of 2500mm. Due to this upgrading period, the 1800mm almost out of the market. The 2500mm corrugator technology is already mature after innovation from speed 250 m/min to 350 m/min.

For example, we have customers who is using our 2500mm 7ply corrugator of speed 300 m/min since 2015, and the 1800mm 5ply corrugator since 2010. And nowadays, our customer has installed our lasted version of 2800mm 7ply corrugator of speed 300 m/min at new plant, and become the biggest corrugated board plant in their local market.

Our customer has about 800+ order change daily in 7ply corrugator. The reason they can achieve this target efficiently because the machine is equipped with all necessary equipment such as cassette type single facer which can change rollers in 10 minutes, and auto splicer to change paper in high speed of 200 m/min ~ 300 m/min, and rectification control, temperature control, production management system, 1 second order change slitter scorer X 2 sets, auto glue kitchen, etc.

And customer is satisfied with the performance of flat & strong board with min. glue consumption such as B flute glue line is less than 1.2mm, and C flute glue line is less than 1.5mm. 

In China market, many factories need to change many order daily especially the board plant.

Daily 500~800 order change in board plant is quite common, but it is difficult to find this imagine in overseas market.
